Desiderata,
Since the thirteenth of November is near, I thought I should send you a little gift in memory of our long and loving life.

I am enclosing a musical composition entitled “Puddle Hop”. This musical idea is inspired by what I remember of my childhood in La Avenida after those rare and short spells of rain would arrive unexpectedly but gratefully.

I remember the rising smell of a humus soil engulfing my nostrils, as the rain bounced off the ground, and eventually creating little puddles of priceless water that I would persistently jump into with careless enthusiasm and joy.

This composition is about those little puddles of water that I so dearly loved because they would take me into other realms and other worlds of pure imagination, freedom and truth. That is one of the many moments that I treasure very much about my home, my birthplace, and my heart. If I think enough about it, it brings me tears of great joy.
